SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

Effective date: July 7, 2026

These terms govern the SMS notification program operated by TEKSwork through the OnMapIt dispatch platform (the "Program").

1. Program description

The Program sends automated after-hours service dispatch notifications to on-call employees of businesses using OnMapIt. Messages include service-call details and an acknowledgment link.

2. Consent

The Program is limited to employees of businesses using OnMapIt. SMS consent is collected separately from employment and from on-call scheduling, via a standalone written opt-in form that each employee completes voluntarily. Consenting to receive text messages is optional and is not a condition of employment, of participating in the on-call rotation, or of receiving service — employees who decline can still be reached for dispatch by phone call. By opting in, you agree to receive automated text messages related to after-hours service dispatch during your on-call shifts.

3. Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with after-hours service call volume (typically 0–5 messages per on-call shift). Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. TEKSwork is not responsible for carrier charges.

4. Opting out and help

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact support@tekswork.com. You may also ask your administrator to disable SMS notifications for your number. Opting out does not remove you from the on-call rotation or affect your employment — dispatch can still be made by phone call.

5. Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your carrier and network availability.

6. Privacy

Phone numbers are used solely for the Program and are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes

TEKSwork may update these terms from time to time; the current version will always be available at this URL.
